@@martinfinbarscully4924 no Martin, Particulate & Nox sensors are just plug and play except if you wanted to do a software update. I hit this problem with a bmw particulate matter sensor video 😉

They probably aren't 300 for the 2 everywhere else, but we have Paddy Tax here to contend with, so the local supplier is 300 for the 2. Online I'm guessing they're available from Poland for 40 quid - however we seldom have time to go looking/waiting for An Post to chuck them over the fence, so they're 300 quid.

@@kennedysgarage3281 Speaking of getting too old Peter, today (sunday) we were doing the entire clutch system on a Discovery that's used around a big dairy farm as a workhorse. Entire vehicle's coated in about 4" of cow-5hyte, the interior looks like a vets bin. No garage would touch it with a barge-pole.. The other chap's friends with the farmer & told him to chuck it in here, we'd do it (ffs like..) and so there we were, doing the worst clutch, on the worlds worst vehicle, getting showered in dried cowdung all day. Compared to it, everything else is a doddle. But I'm still getting too old for crap like that.,. wouldn't let it into the workshop due to the filth, so we did it outdoors on the grass, with a jack on a sheet of ply.. The bloomin Effort..

@@gurveersinghsohanpal3259 it definitely needs to be calibrated, but the compressor shouldn’t run on every start. Do the calibration and see what happens thereafter. The suspension air bags can be checked using soapy water in a spray bottle 😉👍👍

@@remotaurog no, the exhaust camshaft has a complex design to accommodate another EGR system integrated in the valve & rocker system. This design is flawed and hence the camshafts wear every 130,000kms or so 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

@@kennedysgarage3281 yes it is a complex design and one material is harder than the other hence the wear ,low oil pressure just adds to the problem.

@@kennedysgarage3281 tried a M&D ignition coil on a 1.8 honda accord 99y. Spark was weaker than with the 12y old oem part. It had the no start under -21c cold fault. But did not get on the bottom with it.

@@simonedwards5401 yes, that was a strange one alright. Snap on, Mahle, Autel were all 10kpa but the Topdon was 100kpa which made roll on, so Topdon for the win in this case 💪💪

@@hassanabdulamir4912 your vacuum pump was a most likely gone but if so it’s the exhaust camshaft wearing that caused it to fail 😬😬😬

@@jameshalligan1933 I actually have a high pressure kit for testing diesel high pressure pumps but it was difficult to T into this one. So once my colleague Alan thought the the same as me, the parts cannon was pulled 😂😂😂

@@johnbickle4654 I wonder could it be a ground or earth strap related fault??? Would it be worth connecting a set of jump leads from battery negative to the engine & the 2nd lead from battery negative to the body. Just as a test on cold start 🤔🤔🤔
